Nothing in life is worth being easy. If you want to succeed, you have to make sacrifices in the form of time, effort, pain, and hard work. There will be many setbacks, and each time you are almost successful there will be more and more adversity tests. Only after taking an additional test, then another, and yet another, will you be able to pass.
The great tragedy of life is that most people give up just before they are successful. They’ve already reached the five-meter line and all they need is one last push to make the touchdown and bring the sweet victory home. But just before, they have one last obstacle to overcome: a last failure that they must overcome. Far too many people give up then, without realizing how close they are.
If you just take one thing from this post, let it be this: Every time you run into a failure or an adversity, keep going! Success is supposed to be difficult, because that’s what makes it so special. If it were easy, anyone could do it. But it is difficult, so remember this, no excuse, no negative pressure from those around you, should be taken into account in the quest for your success. Keep focus on yourself and those who can make a positive contribution.
The only way to grow as a person is to take on the biggest challenges in life and endure them long enough to succeed. No matter how long it takes or how difficult it gets, always remember the words of motivational speaker Les Brown: “It’s not over until I win! ”
